2026 So Far...

January NYC

Museum of the Dog in New York held a Breed Spotlight on Sealyham Terriers and I was one of the 3 individuals invited to participate in sharing this breed with the public. We were joined by Margaret Fox and spent a day with AKC Museum staff and sharing the dogs with the public.

February NYC

AKCs Meet the Breeds at the Javits Center once again brought me to the Big Apple to represent Sealyham Terriers. We gathered with hundreds of other exhibitors who love their breed and were able to share our Sealys with thousands (despite freezing temps!) It was wonderful meeting up with experts in so many breeds and pick up some new information and appreciation for all the different breeds.

February/March MA

First Company Governor's Foot Guard Athletic Association Show at the Eastern Expo Center in Springfield was our first show of the year. We got lots of compliments and enjoyed seeing friends and making new ones. If you're everything curious about attending a dog show just let me know!

April MA

Atreyu and I entered the Trap Falls Kennel Clubs Easter show at the Eastern Expo Center in Springfield on Sunday and had fun seeing our show friends and their breeds. While there I showed my Sealyham and we got ourselves an Owner Handled Terrier Group First and made it to our first Best in Show lineup!

April MD

The Columbia Terrier Show brought us to Timonium, Maryland and the Cherry Blossom Cluster did not disappoint. Atreyu and I were honored with Best Adult in Match Thursday evening and had the privilege of cheering for the other Sealys the rest of the weekend. We found familiar faces and walked away with even more new ones!

May MA

Pet Skin Academy held their Advanced Science Workshop for Skin & Coat in Sheffield MA this month. This workshop was completed after a weekend of learning, getting hands on with therapies, and eventually passing my exam and making it one step closer to my Certified Pet Aesthetician status.

May NJ

Intergroom Expo in Secaucus is near and dear to me, and always brings new adventures to my life. Not only did I have the opportunity to compete with my own dog in front of a steamed judges, but I was able to join a team with two close friends and accomplish a very creative and adorable groom that was in the top running for a placement amongst other great teams. It was great speaking to knowledgeable experts from around the globe and watch some of the best groomers from other countries get to compete in their craft.
